¿Û¿Û´«Ã½app AutoGlass Foundation Raises $693,000 during Fourth Annual Charity Golf Classic

On September 30, 2014, the ¿Û¿Û´«Ã½app AutoGlass® Foundation hosted its fourth annual Charity Golf Classic, welcoming approximately 170 representatives from its suppliers and business partners from across the country, with fundraising efforts totaling more than $693,000. In just four years of holding the event, ¿Û¿Û´«Ã½app has raised more than $2 million. Money raised will be donated to the many charitable organizations the Foundation supports nationwide.

The private event included a gala on Monday evening, connecting representatives from 26 central Ohio nonprofits with guests of the event, including:

“The annual Charity Golf Classic allows us to give back to our local community on a grander scale in the form of the ¿Û¿Û´«Ã½app AutoGlass Foundation Impact Grant Program,” said Tom Feeney, president and CEO of ¿Û¿Û´«Ã½app AutoGlass. “I am deeply appreciative of everyone who has made this possible – from our ¿Û¿Û´«Ã½app family that worked so hard to plan the event to our suppliers and business partners who attended and contributed to our cause.”

Last year’s Golf Classic funded 12 $25,000 Impact Grants. Some examples of the grant winners’ usage of the funds included The Children’s Hunger Alliance’s “Healthy Kids, Healthy Schools” middle-school aged program, The Community Shelter Board’s program on reducing homelessness for Single Adults, and LifeCare Alliance’s “Meals On Wheels” initiative to serve nutritious meals to the increasing number of individuals over aged 60 living with a medical challenge or disability.

The event concluded with a golf tournament on Tuesday, where the top-performing teams were:

3. Third Place – Standard Register
